The extensive product range includes solutions for packaging, metalworking, construction, electronics, oil and gas industry, and more. VpCI technology involves conditioning enclosed environments with protective vapours that form a molecular layer on metal surfaces, providing continuous protection. These vapours are self-replenishing, cost-effective, easy to apply, extend equipment life, and do not interfere with mechanical operations. They offer multi-metal protection without containing harmful substances.  

ABOUT CORTEC
Cortec was established in 1977, as a fledgling company working out of a garage in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA.   They had a vision to effectively combat the devastating effects of corrosion, while at the same time creating environmentally friendly alternatives to existing methods of corrosion protection.

Through commitment, hard work, and extensive research and development they pioneered the application and distribution of VCI (Vapour Corrosion Inhibitor) technology.

Firstly, they developed nitrite-free multi metal VCI products. Then went on to expanded into environmentally acceptable water-based liquids to replace polluting oil/solvent-based coatings. They currently produce a large range of multifunctional products that promise unparalleled benefits to you, our customers.

Cortec® holds  ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Laboratory accreditation issued by the Laboratory Accreditation Bureau.  Cortec’s Laboratory, located in St. Paul, MN.  It provides customers worldwide with a variety of testing, including analytical, electro-chemical, and corrosion analysis.  This accreditation confirms the competence of Cortec® Laboratory to carry out tests and/or calibrations, including sampling. It covers testing and calibration performed using standard, non-standard methods, and laboratory-developed methods.
